Yeti in Paris

Sadly I didn't make it to Paris to visit the Pictoplasma exhibition... but my little yeti did.

So nice to be a small part of this excellent character madness as the books, conferences and screenings are a major inspiration to me for ..oi :) ... over 10 years now. Would have loved to see the other 499 missing-link-creatures but I cross my fingers and hope they make it to the next Berlin conference in April.

Well, and as the end of 2011 is near: happy new year and 'guten Rutsch'!

Yeti spotting II

...a real master of disguise this one...

...he looks cold but gives cozy, warm hugs

...this fellow claims to be the real 'Schneemensch', hm, a little big mouthed but who knows...well Reinhold, maybe...

he likes to mingle with mountaintops, doesn't feel very comfortable in a crowd (except one that is entirely made out of stone and ice…) and posing for a picture isn't his favorite thing to do, so please don't mind his uneasy expression.

As the annual Pictoplasma Festival approaches (jipee!) Yetis seem to pop up all over the internet :)

Especially coming from a country where one of the local 'heros' claims to have shaken hands with the mighty "Schneemensch" I just had to look out for such a hairy creature myself.

So here are a few pics of mountain-top-beasts I was able to spot over the last few weeks…

although they were hiding pretty well...
